We're so excited to welcome you to the new Canadian Chinchilla Rescue website!

After months of planning and preparation, we're thrilled to launch this space where we can better connect with our community, share stories of the amazing chinchillas in our care, and provide resources for current and future chinchilla parents.

Our Mission

For those just discovering us: Canadian Chinchilla Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming chinchillas across Ontario. Every year, dozens of chinchillas find themselves in need of a second chance—whether due to owner surrender, abandonment, or neglect. We're here to give them that chance.

Each chinchilla that comes into our care receives:

A thorough veterinary examination
Any necessary medical treatment
Proper nutrition and a safe, comfortable environment
Time to decompress and show us their unique personality
A carefully matched forever home
